Facility Services

Facility Services plans, constructs, manages and operates Placer County’s buildings, properties, infrastructure and assets to bring value to the Public, maximizing useful life and economic opportunity, through efficient and effective service delivery and prudent fiscal management. The department has the following divisions:

Services and Information

  • Building Maintenance
    Information including essential cleaning and repair of the County owned and operated facilities.
  • Parks & Grounds
    Includes a list of all parks and trails located within the County.
  • Museums
    Includes information about the six free museums, tours and research and artifact storage.
  • Capital Improvements
    Plans, designs, and constructs facilities with plans endorsed by the Board of Supervisors.
  • Property Management
    Provides real estate services including leasing, property management, and acquisitions of real property.
  • Environmental Engineering and Utilities
    Provides information about environmental engineering and utilities, such as sewer, water and garbage services.
