Programs include:

Adult Day Reporting Center (DRC):Allows inmates to complete their disciplinary sentence while participating in the 90 day DRC program. Participants are required to report to the DRC daily, wear a GPS Tracking device and participate in individual and group counseling programs. Individuals participating in the DRC can utilize the on site resource to complete their G.E.D., attend counseling programs and obtain employment. PLATO G.E.D. services are funded through the Indian Gaming Special Distribution Fund which is supported by the Thunder Valley Casino.

Adult Work Release:
Allows inmates with sentences to county jail of 60 days or less to serve their sentence on work crews, supervised by probation department personnel, instead of physical custody. This program helped to build an addition to the Placer County Fair manager's facility and Johnson Hall, located on the Placer County Fairgrounds.

Drug Court: Provides for up to one-year of drug or alcohol treatment services, outpatient and/or residential, with case management by county Probation and Health and Human Services staff, and regular oversight by the court.

Electronic Monitoring: Enables offenders who have been ordered to serve 15 days or more in jail to serve their time in their home. Participants are monitored using an GPS tracking device and intensive supervision by a probation officer.
