6-3-2013: Multistate outbreak of Hepatitis A potentially associated with a frozen berry blend food product

 
Communicable Disease Control works in collaboration with the Public Health Laboratory, physicians in the community, and the California Department of Public Health to prevent and control the spread of communicable diseases, by investigation and follow-up of reported cases and their contacts. Staff provide education to individuals and groups, and surveillance to reduce incidents and prevent additional cases.
