Food Safety Work Group
The Division continues to work with a group of interested food facilities to resolve issues that have been raised during the fee revisions. The Food Safety Work Group meets Quarterly on Wednesday, from 10:00 - 12:00. Any Questions about the next meeting time, contact the Consumer Protection Team at (530) 745-2300.

Below are the Effective dates for the (3) Major Divisions of Environmental Health, fees, as approved by the Board of Supervisors on May 28, 2008.
Consumer Protection - Effective May 28, 2008
Land - Effective Through July 27, 2008
Hazardous Materials - Effective May 28, 2008

NOTE: That annual Consumer Price Index increases will occur every January 31.
Along with our fees that are required, you will need to sign a fee disclosure form. This form shows acknowledgement in how much staff time is being paid for in advance for items that are being submitted according to the fee schedule.
Fee Disclosure Form - This is the form that accompanies fees paid for applications, requests for service, etc .... Whenever a fee is paid for this department, a fee disclosure form is required. It states what the applicant has paid for at the time of submittal.
If you have any questions regarding which fee to submit with a set of plans or an operating permit application, please do not hesitate to contact us. We would like to ensure that the correct fee is submitted so that project review and approval progress is not affected.
