Environmental Impact Reports for Unincorporated Areas of Placer County
An Environmental Impact Report (EIR) provides the general public, state, and local agencies with detailed information on the potentially significant environmental impacts of a proposed development project and identifies mitigation measures to reduce these impacts, including an analysis of alternatives to the proposed project. This report, required by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), assists the decision-makers to make an informed judgment on the merits of a project.
