The office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors provides several important services to the public and for the Board of Supervisors. The Clerk of the Board's office:

• Provides the  Board of Supervisors  with detailed agendas and organized information, so they may conduct the public's business effectively at their meetings
• Maintains detailed records of the Board's actions, and provides that information to the public and to other county staff
• To access Resolutions, Ordinances, and Minutes approved by the Board of Supervisors go to Placer County E-Docs.
• Processes  property tax assessment appeals
• Maintains information on Board-appointed and other county committees and commissions
• Provides central county phone and information services to the public, at 530-889-4000 or 800-488-4308 (toll-free within Placer County, outside the Auburn area)
