Sandbags and Sand Available at Placer County Locations

Although the National Weather Service has lifted an Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory that was in place ealier this month in Placer County, significant rainfall is expected over the next few days.
No flooding has been reported in Placer County, but officials will continue to monitor the situation. Residents living near flood-prone creeks and streams should remain vigilant and monitor news and weather reports in the media. Drivers should take extra precautions since culverts sometimes overflow.
As a precaution, sand and sandbags are available for residents in the following Placer County locations:
Placer County Fire, Dry Creek Station, 8350 Cook Riolo Road;
Loomis Corporation Yard, on Taylor Road;
Placer Consolidated Fire Protection District, 11645 Atwood Road, Auburn;
California Dept. of Forestry and Fire Protection Station in Bowman, 13760 Lincoln Way;
South Placer Fire Protection District, 6900 Eureka Road, Granite Bay;
Placer County Fire Station in Lincoln, 401 Oak Tree Lane, Lincoln;
Placer County Fire, Paige Station, 5584 Nicolaus Road;
Placer County Fire, 4710 Fruitvale Road, Lincoln;
Placer County Fire, 4952 Riosa Road, Sheridan
