hopes to secure the land soon, while it’s still available, but doesn’t plan to build the center until 2012, according to Mary Dietrich, Assistant Director of Facility Services.

The Placer County Government Centerat Tahoe is part of the county plan to improve access to services it offers at the lake. When completed, the center would provide the public with a single place for access to both general government and land use functions that are currently in different locations. The County also wishes to include other, non-county departments and agencies whose proximity to PlacerCountyservices would enhance the delivery of public services.
The NTRAC meeting will take place at the North Tahoe Community Conference Center, beginning at 6 p.m.
