Placer County Museums to Present Music on the Porch

Join the Placer County Museumstaff on the front lawn of the Historic Bernhard Museum Complex for an evening of great music, a touch of history, and a few laughs. Performing troupe Coyote Hill will entertain and interpret early Californiahistory through stories and music from the Bernhard Museum's front porch on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

The members of Coyote Hill are accomplished storytellers and interpreters and they weave the lore behind the music into their programs. They present each piece of music in its historical context and are masters of their craft.  No reservations are required and this performance is free as part of Placer County Museums’ Community Education Program.

Bring your family and a picnic basket dinner and enjoy a relaxed evening in one of Auburn’s most historic settings. The Bernhard Museum Complex is located at 291 Auburn-Folsom Roadin Auburn. For additional information, please call the Placer County Museums at (530) 889-6500.
