Placer County Museums announces the opening of a new exhibit: Curves and Compromise the Victorian Silhouette. This exhibit interprets the compromises women made in order to achieve the iconic Victorian silhouette of the latter half of the 19th Century.The exhibit opened September 28 in the PlacerCountyMuseumon the first floor of Auburn’s Historic Courthouse at 101 Maple Street. The Placer County Museumis open daily from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free.
