Career Opportunities will bein abundance at one of the region’s largest job fairs. Over 90 employers will be on hand Thursday, October 12, 2006 in Auburn. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gold Country Fairgrounds, 1273 High Street, in Auburn. It is free to both employers and job seekers.
The job fair is hosted by Business Advantage Network; a coalition of workforce development agencies throughout PlacerCountyproviding job services to both employers and job seekers.All of the network's services to businesses and job seekers are free. The Business Advantage Network sponsors two free job fairs each year.More than 90 businesses and 3,000 job seekers attended the fall job fair in Auburnlast year. This event featured over 1,000 available jobs.
Sponsors of the October 12th Job Fair include Gold Country Media, Placer County Office of Economic Development, and the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce.
