Flu Shots Still Available

It’s not too late to protect yourself against seasonal flu by getting a flu shot.

County
Health and Human Services offers flu shots through three community clinics. Shots are $10 each, and Medicare can pay the cost for those who are eligible. Anyone six months of age or older can get a flu shot.
So far this year’s flu season has been relatively mild, however flu season sometimes doesn’t peak until late February. It’s definitely not too late to get a flu shot.
Here is the schedule of walk in flu services at Placer County Community Clinics. In each case, shots are available from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.
- Auburn Community Clinic, located at 11583 C Avenuein the Placer County Government Center (formerly called DeWitt). Shots will be available on Fridays.
- Roseville Community Clinic, located at 1130 Conroy Lane #402in Roseville. Shots will be available on Wednesdays.
- Tahoe Community Clinic, located at 8665 Salmon Avenuein Kings Beach. Shots are available on Tuesdays.
