Museum to Host Hands-on Archaeology Program

As May is “Archaeology Month” the Placer County Museums is hosting the
Community Education Program: Hands-On Archaeology.
Learn the methods archaeologists use to uncover our past! You can help us sift through soil for artifacts, excavate a small test pit, and work in the lab where artifacts will be weighed, measured, identified, and catalogued. This program is kid-friendly, so the entire family is invited. The program will take place at the Bernhard Museum Complex, 291 Auburn-Folsom Roadin Auburnon Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. For more information, please call (530) 889-6500.
