AUBURN, CA -- The newly produced Placer County 2007 Citizens Guide is now available. Hard copies are available at "The Domes," the County Administrative Center, at 175 Fulweiler Avenue in Auburn. The guide is also available online: Citizens Guide
The pamphlet, which will serve as a guide for those interested in obtaining services, communicating with officials and participating in local government in Placer County.
Produced by the Public Information Office, the 25-page guide contains contact information for virtually all departments of the county for both the foothills side of the county and the Lake Tahoe area. Services are listed alphabetically with separate sections for county parks, municipal advisory councils and Lake Tahoe services. Additionally, there are maps to all county office locations.
"Placer County stretches from the Sacramento County line to the California-Nevada border," said Public Information Officer Anita Yoder. "There are many services offered in many locations and this Citizens Guide will assist the public in finding where they need to go or who to contact for additional information."
