Asphalt Plant Appeal Rescheduled

A meeting of the Placer County Board of Supervisors scheduled for Monday, Oct. 1, 2007 to hear the appeal regarding the Chevreaux Aggregates Asphalt Plant in Meadow Vista has been cancelled.
Board Chairman Bruce Kranz said the meeting was being cancelled because one of his colleagues could not be present. Chevreaux Industries has requested that the meeting be rescheduled to a date when the full Board of Supervisors will be available. The appellant, Richard Goodwin, has also agreed to the continuance.
The meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in the Planning Commission Chambers, 3091 County Center Drive in Auburn. On Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 10:20 a.m., the Board of Supervisors took action to reschedule that meeting; no other action regarding this plant will be taken.
