The Government Springs Fire is located in the Tahoe National Forest, and is being managed by the U.S. Forest Service (USFS). Smoke is visible from I-80 in the Sierra near Yuba Gap.
The Westville Fire and Peavine Fires are also in Placer County and being managed by the USFS.
