Bookmobile Service Restarts

Services from the Placer County Bookmobile that were temporarily suspended in March have been restarted, effective April 1, 2008. Bookmobile service will resume with normally scheduled stops for that date and the remainder of the week. (Consult Week A on the printed schedule).
The Bookmobile routes, which range from rural areas such as Alta-Dutch Flat, Sheridan and Iowa Hill, to stops at facilities such as assisted living centers and preschools in urban areas including Auburn and Rocklin, is a service the library offers to residents.
Residents may call the library administration office at 530-886-4550, or visit the County web site at www.placer.ca.gov/Departments/library.aspx for other information about the Bookmobile.
Driving the Bookmobile requires a special license from the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
