Fish and Game Commission To Hear Report About County's Deer Herds

At the Placer County Fish and Game Commission’s regular monthly meeting on Wed., Nov. 19, 2008, the California Department of Fish and Game will make a presentation about the health of Placer County’s deer herds. Following this presentation, there will be a discussion of Placer County’s current deer hunting regulations, and an opportunity for public comment.
The November meeting will be in the Planning Commission Hearing Room in the CDRA building, 3091 County Center Dr., Auburn at 7 p.m. This meeting, like all Commission meetings, is open to the public, which is invited to attend and offer comment.
The Placer County Fish and Game Commission is a seven-member advisory body to the county Board of Supervisors on fish and game related matters. The Commission coordinates efforts in habitat improvements, public awareness and natural resource education.
