January 20, 2009

The Placer County Board of Supervisors is looking for people interested in serving on the Meadow Vista Municipal Advisory Council.

The seven-member advisory council currently has several vacancies. Meadow Vista residents interested in filling the vacancies are invited to fill out applications for board review.

Friday, Feb. 20 is the deadline for submitting applications. Fifth District Supervisor Jennifer Montgomery will review the applications and ask the full Board of Supervisors to confirm her recommendations for the vacant positions.

Members of the Meadow Vista MAC are volunteers who serve two-year terms. The term of its current members is scheduled to end Jan. 31.

Each member must reside, be a property owner or be a business owner or manager within the Meadow Vista area.
