Digital TV Conversion Assistance Offered

Representatives from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will be at two Placer County Library branches this week to provide information about Converter Boxes, antennas, Converter Box coupons and other issues related to the transition from older analog technologies to new digital reception.
Staff will have televisions and other equipment with them to demonstrate how to set up a converter box and connect it to an older analog TV.
FCC representatives will be at the Auburn Branch Library on Thursday, May 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. and at the Rocklin Branch Library on Friday, May 15, from 1 to 3 p.m.
