Infectious Diseases

We partner with the Public Health Laboratory, medical care providers in the community, and the California Department of Public Health to prevent and control the spread of infectious diseases. We investigate and follow-up on reported cases and their contacts. Staff provide education to individuals and in group settings, and surveillance duties to reduce incidents and prevent additional cases.
