Department Services
This office provides assistance and advice to veterans and their dependents in obtaining veterans benefits.
Veterans Services staff can set up appointments for Roseville veterans at the Roseville One-Stop Career Center, 1880 Sierra Gardens Drive, Roseville, CA 95661. Please call (916) 784-6127 for an appointment.
Job services are provided by the California Employment Development Department and are available Monday through Friday. Please call (916) 774-4044 for an appointment.
The California Department of Veterans Services - CDVA - offers a college tuition fee waiver program for veterans' dependents. For more information about this valuable benefit, please contact our office, your school's Veterans office, or call CDVA at (916) 653-2049.
Department Mission
The mission of the Veterans Service Office is to promote the interests and welfare of veterans and their dependants and survivors, and to enhance their quality of life through counseling, education, claims assistance and advocacy.
This office will provide the leadership necessary to become the center for veterans' claims activities, projects promoting veterans, and advocacy for veterans' rights and entitlements throughout Placer County.
