MUNICIPAL ADVISORY COUNCIL - DONNER SUMMIT |

The Municipal Advisory Council may advise the Board of Supervisors on matters of concern which relate to |
|
the area served by the Municipal Advisory Council. The Council shall advise the Board of Supervisors on |
|
matters specifically referred to it by the Board of Supervisors for review and recommendation. |
|
The Council shall have five (5) members selected At-Large and shall be appointed by the Board of |
|
Supervisors. Members shall be nominated by the Board member representing supervisorial district 5 and be |
|
appointed by a majority of the Board Of Supervisors. Members shall serve two year terms, the first two |
|
year term commencing on February 1, 2010 and concluding on January 31, 2012, then running in two year |
|
cycles thereafter, but always ending on January 31st of the appropriate year. In the event of a supervisorial |
|
vacancy during a term of office caused by resignation of a supervisor or any other reason, upon the |
|
appointment or election of any new supervisor to fill the unexpired supervisorial term all MAC member |
|
appointments shall be vacated within thirty (30) days of the new supervisor assuming office. The new |
|
supervisor may nominate members to be considered for appointment for the unexpired term of membership. |
|
Meetings for 2012 will be held on January 19th, April 19th, July 19th and October 18th at either the |
|
Village Hall Great Room or the Coldstream Day Room at the Judah Day Lodge, at Sugar Bowl, Norden |
|
(locations will be noted on agendas). |
|
All members of the Council shall serve without compensation. |
