PLACER COUNTY INDIAN GAMING LOCAL COMMUNITY BENEFIT COMMITTEE

PURPOSE:

To establish all application policies and procedures for grants, assess the eligibility of applications, select

all grant awards, and determine the appropriate amount for reimbursement of county costs incurred for

administering the grant programs (not exceed 2% of total funding). Per Government Code 12715(b)(1).

COMPOSITION:

The committee shall be composed of seven (7) representatives. Two (2) representatives from the county,

appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Three (3) representatives from cities located within 4 miles of a

tribal casino in the county, selected by the Board of Supervisors. Two (2) representatives selected upon

the recommendation of the tribes operating casinos in the county.

Upon call of the Committee.

COMPENSATION:

Commissioners serve without compensation.
