CSA 28, ZONE 165 DRY CREEK AREA FIRE SERVICE COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE

PURPOSE:

To provide the forum by which local public protection issues can be voiced, deliberated, and implemented.

To work in conjunction with the W. Placer Municipal Advisory Council to advise the Board of Supervisors on

issues relating to public health, safety, law enforcement and recreation as it relates to emergency and fire

COMPOSITION:

The Committee shall consist of seven (7) members residing in CSA 28, Zone 165 or businessmen owning

and conducting business in the area. Terms shall be four years. Members shall be appointed by the

Board of Supervisors. To establish staggered terms three (3) member's terms were changed to two (2)

years for the initial appointment by the Board of Supervisors on May 29, 2001.

MEETINGS:

Meetings are held quarterly on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at the Dry Creek Fire Station,

8350 Cook Riolo Road, Roseville.

COMPENSATION:

Members shall receive no compensation for their services; however, any member traveling on official

business for the Committee shall be reimbursed for his or her actual and necessary traveling expense.
