EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE COMMITTEE |

The Board of Supervisors establishes an Emergency Medical Care Committee (EMCC) to be advisory to the Placer |
|
County Public Health Officer, with by-laws to be prepared by the EMCC membership as follows (See Committee |
|
Composition). Established by Res. 90-81 supercedes all previous BOS action. Res. 90-269 modifying |
|
1 rep from each of the following within Placer County: each ambulance provider, each acute care hospital |
|
emergency room, Placer County Fire Chief's Association, Placer-Nevada County Medical Society, California |
|
Department of Forestry, California Highway Patrol, Placer County Sheriff's Department, Placer County Office of |
|
Emergency Services, American Red Cross, Placer County Public Health Officer, Res. 94-194 adding representative |
|
from CSA 28, Zone 27. Ex-Officio members shall be 1 rep from each of the following: Sierra-Sacramento Valley |
|
Emergency Medical Services Agency, and Sierra Nevada Hospital Emergency Room. Amended 9/7/93 Res. 93-284. |
|
The first Wednesday of February, May, September, and November from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Placer |
|
Consolidated Fire Dept., 11645 Atwood Road, Auburn, CA. |

Members shall receive no compensation for their services; however, any member traveling on official business for |
|
the Council shall be reimbursed for his actual and necessary traveling expense. |
