Plan, coordinate, and fund services for the elderly in 7-county areas: Placer, Nevada, Sacramento, Sierra, |

Sutter, Yolo, Yuba; through Older American Act, State and local match funds. |

Comprises seven representatives from Placer County: Governing Board: 1 Supervisor, 1 year term and 1 |
|
Consumer, 2 year year term. Advisory Council: 3 year term. 2 representatives appointed by the Board of |
|
Supervisors, 2 by PC Older Adult Advisory Council, 1 by Nutritional Project Council. |
|
Governing Board: 2nd Friday of the month. Advisory Council: 3rd Thursday of the month. Meetings |
|
rotate between 7 counties. |
|
Governing Board Supervisor members receive reimbursement for actual/necessary traveling expense when |
|
on official county business. Advisory Council members and Consumer Representatives on the Governing |
|
Board, when using their own automobile to drive to meetings and who are not otherwise reimbursed, will |
|
receive $9.50 if the meeting is within the county the member is a resident. For members traveling outside |
|
the county of residency, reimbursement will be $17.50 per meeting. |
