PLACER COUNTY INDIAN GAMING LOCAL COMMUNITY BENEFIT COMMITTEE |

To establish all application policies and procedures for grants, assess the eligibility of applications, select all |
|
grant awards, and determine the appropriate amount for reimbursement of county costs incurred for |
|
administering the grant programs (not exceed 2% of total funding). Per Government Code 12715(b)(1). |
|
The committee shall be composed of seven (7) representstives. Two (2) representatives from the county, |
|
appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Three (3) representatives from cities located within 4 miles of a tribal |
|
casino in the county, selected by the Board of Supervisors. Two (2) representatives selected upon the |
|
recommendation of the tribes operating casinos in the county. |

Upon call of the Committee. |
|
Commissioners serve without compensation. |
