Duran Appoints New Park Commissioner

Placer County Supervisor Jack Duran today appointed local public servant Greg Fayard as District 1 Parks Commissioner.

“Greg has the intellect, experience and drive to serve,” Duran said. “I know he will do a fantastic job on the Parks Commission."

Fayard is a former California deputy attorney general as wekk as past-president of the Placer County Bar Association and is on the Board of Directors for Sacramento Adventist Academy. He and his wife, Sheri, a registered nurse, have three children and have lived in West Roseville since 2003.

The Parks Commission advises the Board of Supervisors on all matters relating to public recreation projects and recommends policies and gives direction to the County’s Parks Division.
