Subject: Public Notice for a Department of the Army Permit

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District has posted Public Notice

SPK-2007-01 068 to http://www.spk.usace.army.mil/requlatory.html

U.S. Bureau of Reclamation has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material into

approximately 78 acres of waters of the United States to construct the Folsom Dam Safety

and Flood Damage Reduction Project. This project is located at the Folsom Dam and

Reservoir, at the confluence of the North and South Forks of the American River, in

Sacramento, Placer and EI Dorado Counties, California, in Township 7 North, Range 7 East

and 8 East.

Written comments and/or a request for a paper copy of the notice may be submitted to

project manager Lisa M. Gibson at the Sacramento Office, 916-557-5288, email:

Comments must be received by September 17, 2007.
