STATE OFFICIAL TO SPEAK AT OCT. 25 FORUM SPONSORED BY SUPERVISOR KRANZ

California Secretary of State Bruce McPherson will be the keynote speaker at a community forum sponsored by Placer County Supervisor Bruce Kranz that will be held in Tahoe City Tuesday, Oct. 25.
The forum will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Granlibakken Conference Center, 725 Granlibakken Road.
The public is invited to attend. Appetizers will be served.
McPherson became California’s 30th secretary of state on March 30, 2005 after being nominated by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and being confirmed unanimously by both the Assembly and state Senate. From Santa Cruz, he served in the Assembly from 1993-96 and the state Senate from 1996 until he was termed out at the end of his second term in 2004.
