MUNICIPAL ADVISORY COUNCIL - RURAL LINCOLN |

The Municipal Advisory Council may advise the Board of Supervisors on matters of concern which relate to |
|
the area served by the Municipal Advisory Council, including but not limited to land use, public health, |
|
safety, public works, law enforcement, and recreation. In addition, the Council shall advise the Board of |
|
Supervisors on matters specifically referred to it by the Board of Supervisors for review and |
|
The Council shall adopt rules, regulations and procedures as are reasonable and appropriate for its activity, |
|
as are specifically approved by the Board of Supervisors. The Council shall also comply with any rules, |
|
regulations, and procedures contained in the MAC Manual proscribed and approved by the Board of |
|
Supervisors. In absence of procedures to the contrary, the council shall be governed by Robert’s Rules of |
|
Five (5) members, appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Members shall own real property within the area, |
|
or own or operate a business within the area. Terms shall be for two years. |
|
Third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Hall, Lincoln. |
|
All members of the Council shall serve without compensation. |
