Juvenile Justice/Delinquency Prevention Commission

Purpose

Inquire into the administration of juvenile justice within the County, inspections of publicly operated juvenile institutions within the County, provide the County with a coordinating body for activities designed to reduce juvenile and adult delinquency.

Composition

Appointed by Superior Court Judges. Comprises not less than 7 members, nor more than 15, serving 4 year terms.

Meetings

Third Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m., Auburn Justice Center Community Room, 2929 Richardson Drive, Auburn, CA 95603.

Compensation

Members shall receive no compensation for their services; however, any member traveling on official business for the Council shall be reimbursed for his actual and necessary traveling expense.
