WARNING:
Fraudulent Documents

Fraudulent documents have made their way to child support customers in California. If you receive a suspicious looking child support document or have questions regarding child support documents, please contact us immediately at 866.901.3212.

Child Support is the money a parent is required to pay for the support of their child. The money helps provide the other parent with funds for food, clothing, shelter and other basic needs of a child. It can also provide the means for activities and sports that enhance a child’s life. Our department exists to help parents meet the needs of their children. Whether you are a parent requesting support or a parent who needs to provide support we assist with both at no cost.

The Placer County Department of Child Support Services has a strong commitment to children and families. It is shown in the work we do everyday and in our community efforts. Our goal is for children to get the support they need for a greater chance of success

Types of services we provide:
