The Board considers appeals of Code interpretations. The Board has the authority to determine the suitability of, and authorize the substitution of, materials and types of construction equipment to those specified by this Code and the State Housing Law. They act as an advisory body to the Board of Supervisors on all matters pertaining to the construction industry.  Meetings are scheduled as necessary to hear appeal requests.
