You must get a building permit from the Building Division to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert, or demolish a building or structure that is regulated by the California Building Code
(CBC), unless a separate permit for each building or structure has first been obtained. The Building Permit Application Form
must be printed on legal size paper (8-1/2x14). For property within a city limit, contact your local Building Department.
