Applegate Bookworms Junior Book Club (for grades 4, 5, & 6): Monthly discussion of selected book and books in general. 2nd Thursday of the month: 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Mother Goose on the Loose: Nursery Rhymes & Musical Rhythms (for babies from birth to three years old): Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 10:30 -11:00 a.m. August 25 -December 9. (no session Wednesday, September 30 & Wednesday, November 11)
Storytime (for ages 3-5): Thursdays: 10:30- 11:00 a.m. August 27-December 10. (no session Thursday, November 26)
Paws to Read: 2nd Wednesday of the month, from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.(no session Wednesday, November 11- rescheduled for Wednesday, November 18, 3:30-4:30 p.m.) Children are invited to polish their reading skills by reading a book of their choice to Sweetie, a furry reading coach and therapy dog provided by Love on a Leash.
LEGO® Club (all ages): Build to the theme or create your very own Kronkiwongi. Bricks are provided. Drop-in on the 3rd Saturday of the month: 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Get Buggy at the Rocklin Library! Library Card Sign-Up Month: Explore the world of insects with entomologist, Jeff Smith from the Bohart Museum at U.C. Davis and sign up for a library card too. Saturday, September 19 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Tales Dark and Grimm: (for older braver children): Enter this storytime at your own risk! Hear scary classic fairytales and stories that have been frightening little ones for generations, and then craft your own scary stories poster! Preregistration is required. Tuesday, October 6 from 4:00-4:45 p.m. Call the Rocklin Library to reserve your spot.
Pumpkinpalooza! (for all ages) Between October 13-30, bring in a decorated pumpkin based on your favorite picture book or literary character. Painted and embellished pumpkins only, please. Carved pumpkins will not be accepted. Pumpkins will be on display until October 31.
The Great Pumpkin Party: Join us for a Fall celebration! Create a pumpkin craft, play a special pumpkin game, check out the winning entries for Pumpkinpalooza, and Trick-or-Treat around the library! Costumes encouraged! Saturday, October 31 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
