Legal Self-Help

Legal Self-Help Clinic: Every Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Legal Services of Northern California & Placer County Superior Court sponsor the Legal Self-Help Clinic which offers procedural assistance with legal forms in Civil, Landlord/Tenant, Small Claims and Family Law. No appointment necessary. Open to all members of the public.

Legal Information Reference Center A self-help law resource that contains more than 225 full-text publications and thousands of legal forms. Password = county in which you reside.

Public Computers

The Law Library has 4 computers for public use and WiFi throughout the building. The public computers have access to WestLaw, Lexis, CEB OnLaw, and HeinOnline. WestLaw and CEB OnLaw are available via WiFi in the library.

The library has both MS Word and WordPerfect for word processing. Documents are best saved on a USB flash drive.

Can retrieve (but not search for) out-of-state cases by citation. Easy to use program to fill in Judicial Council Forms. Also includes 38 non-Judicial Council forms.
