Rocklin Library to Close for Move to New Location

September 16, 2010

The current Placer County Rocklin Library will close on Oct. 2, 2010 in preparation for the move into a new facility. The closure will last into January as all shelving in the existing library will need to be removed and refurbished, and then moved to the new location and installed. The new library will be at the corner of Rocklin Road and Granite Drive.

As part of the move, new self-check and security systems will be installed and staff will be trained in their operation. Additionally, new PC and print management systems will be installed, which will allow library patron to book and manage their own use of Internet-connected computers.
