The Exciting World of Fossils

Do you love fossils? Have you ever held a fossil in your hands? Would you like to? Please join Placer County Museums on the second floor of the Bernhard Museum Winery on Sat., Jan. 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. for The Exciting World of Fossils! Gene Lorance, an expert on Hawver Cave, will explain what fossils are and what they are made of. On display will be numerous fossils from the Placer County Museum’s collection that you can handle. This program is designed especially for children, but everyone is welcome.

Space is limited, so reservations are required. The Bernhard Museum Winery is at 291 Auburn Folsom Rd. in Auburn.
