Vacancies on Many Committees, Commissions and Councils Offer Residents an Opportunity for Community Involvement

December 27, 2013

As the New Year rolls around, Placer County would like to remind residents that there are many ways to serve your community. There are currently many openings on various committees, commissions and councils that function in different roles. The committees and commissions can advise the Board of Supervisors, hold hearing on various matters and represent other entities throughout the county.

For a listing of the openings, please see the vacancy page on the Clerk of the Board of Supervisor’s website OPEN SEATS. The Clerk of the Board also has the application form available online: APPLICATION. Interested residents should download the application, fill it out and return it to the Clerk’s office at 175 Fulweiler Ave., Auburn, 95603.
