Placer County Emplyee Art ~ Art Show to Showcase Talents ~

Interested in seeing the creative side of Placer County employees? 

Check out Art Under the Domes - a multi-media exhibit planned by, and featuring the artistic talents of employees.

 “I urge everyone to stop by the employee art show, because it is going to be awesome,” said Chairman Jim Holmes of the Placer County Board of Supervisors.  “I had a chance to check out the art works that are on display and was very impressed. For me, it is exciting to see how many talented artists work for Placer County and the creative ways they find to express themselves.”    

More than 45 items will be on display, showcasing the artistic talents of 32 employees through photography, painting, sculpture and other mixed media.  

The public is invited to the opening reception to be held Wednesday, December 4 from 4:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Domes, the County Administrative Center at 175 Fulweiler Ave. in Auburn.

Coordinated in partnership with PlacerArts, the show will run December 5, 2013 through February 28, 2014.

Viewing hours will be Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (closed holidays) at the following locations:

The Domes – 175 Fulweiler Avenue, Auburn; and

The Community Development Resource Agency building – 3091 County Center Drive, North Auburn – one large metal sculpture.
