Domestic Violence Programs

Pursuant to Penal Code Section 1203.097, offenders shall, as a condition of their probation for a crime in which the victim is a person defined in Section 6211 of the Family Code, complete a Batterer’s Program. Domestic Violence treatment programs provide offenders the opportunity to gain awareness of their violent behavior and to learn and practice skills that enable them to change their behavior and attitude toward their families and domestic partners.
