STATEMENT OF MEETING PROCEDURES - Read by Clerk.
PUBLIC COMMENT – Allison Schwedner, Director of the Community Collaborative of Tahoe Truckee, expressed her gratitude to Placer County and appreciation of leadership of the Placer County Health and Human Services senior management staff.
1. ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES - Conduct a hearing to consider an appeal on behalf of the Falcon Lodge, of the Director of Administrative Services' decision determining the amount of uniform occupancy tax to be assessed against Falcon Lodge and its principals for the 2008 through 2010 tax years, pursuant to Article 4.16 of the Placer County Code. (Continued from January 24, 2012)
The hearing was continued to June 19, 2012 at the request of Lloyd Brown representing Falcon Lodge to allow for Accountant Gina Brown to perform an audit.
2. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT RESOURCE AGENCY/PLANNING/PLACER COUNTY BIOMASS PROGRAM AND CABIN CREEK BIOMASS FACILITY PROJECT - The Planning Services Division presented an update on the County's Biomass Program and the proposed Cabin Creek Biomass Facility Project. The update included an overview of the various elements biomass program and discussion on the status of the preparation of the environmental document for the proposed Cabin Creek project.
ADJOURNMENT – Next regular meeting is Tuesday, April 24, 2012.
RECEPTION – Attended a reception hosted by the North Lake Tahoe Chamber/CVB/Resort Association and the North Tahoe Business Association at the Caliente Restaurant in Kings Beach.
