a.    Library Advisory Board

1.    Approved the appointment of Edward Marquez to Seat #1 (representing District 1), as requested by Supervisor Duran.

2.    HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES/FACILITY SERVICES

a.    Temporary Emergency Sheltering Options for the Homeless

1.    Received staff presentation regarding temporary emergency sheltering options for the homeless.

2.    Provided direction to staff on next steps as appropriate.

MOTION Montgomery/Duran/Unanimous, to set a Public Hearing at its next regular Board meeting on February 3, 2015 at 10:30 a.m., to consider the issuance of a Temporary Conditional Use Permit for the use of Buildings 303A and 303B at the Placer County Government Center as a temporary emergency homeless shelter.  Staff was directed to provide notice of the Public Hearing.  The Board will retain jurisdiction over this matter rather than have it heard before the Planning Commission.
