TART bus in Tahoe City

The Placer County Department of Public Works operates TART. Funding partners include
Placer CountyWashoe County Regional Transportation Commission, Town of Truckee
and
North Lake Tahoe Resort Association.

Welcome aboard TART, where you can ride the bus for only $1.50 each way! Purchase discount passes for even less!

help planning your trip, please call TART.

OPERATING HOURS AND DAYS - TART operates from 6 a.m.
to 7 p.m. seven days a week. Closed Christmas Day. 

YEAR 'ROUND BUS ROUTES - TART's Mainline Route transports riders along 30 miles of Lake Tahoe shoreline including the communities of Tahoma, Homewood, Tahoe City,
Kings Beach and Incline Village. The Hwy. 89 Route provides service between Tahoe City and Truckee, including
stops in Squaw Valley. Transfers between these
two routes are FREE at the Tahoe City "Y."

SEASONAL BUS/TROLLEY ROUTES -The Hwy. 267 Route operates during the winter season only between Truckee and Crystal Bay. Stops include the Truckee Airport, Northstar and Kings Beach. Connect with the TART Mainline Route in
Crystal Bay or the Hwy 89 Route in Truckee for FREE.
Additional service is offered during the summer season with
FREE day and night trolley routes, including night service between Squaw Valley, Tahoe City and Incline Village.
