- CDRA counters closed for upgrades
Published on May 20, 2014
The Placer County Community Development Resource Agency will close its public counters in Auburn and Tahoe on Friday, May 30th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. as part of a project to upgrade the County’s land use software. County technology staff will use this time to migrate data, test, and implement the upgraded land-use permitting system.
Although the current land use permitting system is functional the County seeks to enhance customer service by upgrading to a system that will offer an increased level of vendor support and additional functional software enhancements necessary to manage land use permits and land based information. Staff anticipates the new system will be ready to “go live” in early June.
The closure will only affect land-use permitting counter services. Reception at both locations will still be available to assist customers with non-land-use needs. For more information please contact Community Development at 530-745-3000.
