With more than 44,435 mail-in ballots counted, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are in the lead in their respective races in Placer County, along with all three Placer County supervisor incumbents. The mail-in ballots received account for 21 percent of the total 210,874 registered voters in Placer County.
Full results are posted on Placer County’s election website.
As ballots from polling sites arrive and are counted at the Placer County elections office in Auburn, results will be updated starting at about 10 p.m. every half hour until all available ballots have been counted. Final, certified results - including provisional ballots needing verification and eligible mail-in ballots not yet received - will be posted within 30 days.
