- Zoning changes for emergency shelters
Published on November 16, 2016
The Placer County Board of Supervisors’ public hearing planned for Nov. 22 to discuss a zoning text amendment for emergency shelters will be continued until the first board meeting in January. Staff has determined that the matter is not ready for consideration by the board.
At next Tuesday’s meeting, the public hearing will not be conducted and county staff will request the board continue the emergency shelter zoning text amendment to the board’s first January 2017 meeting. As the public hearing will not be conducted, the board will not be taking public testimony. The date and time of that January hearing will be re-noticed.
