- Two-day meeting in Tahoe City

Next Monday and Tuesday, April 21 and 22, 2014, the Placer County Board of Supervisors will travel to Tahoe City for its regular Board meeting. Three times each year, the Board holds its meetings in the Tahoe area, typically addressing items related to the Tahoe area. This two-day meeting will be held at the Granlibakken Conference Center, 725 Granlibakken Road, in Tahoe City.
Monday’s meeting will actually begin in Kings Beach with a groundbreaking ceremony for the Kings Beach Commercial Core Improvement Project at 1:30 p.m. The meeting at Granlibakken will begin at 3 p.m. The lone agenda item is a status report of the Tahoe Basin Community Plan Update.
Tuesday’s Granlibakken meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Agenda items include a public hearing on proposed garbage collection fee increases for Franchise Areas 2 and 3; a presentation on the status of the North Tahoe Business Association and an update on the proposed Cabin Creek Biomass Facility.
